Rebuilding the charter journey for a private jet broker.
A new brand, website and booking journey for BLAK Aviation, designed to make chartering a private jet feel effortless, and to turn more visitors into charter requests.
FIG. 1 — The mark as a field
The challenge
Chartering a private jet should feel as smooth as the flight itself. BLAK’s old website didn’t.
BLAK Aviation arranges private jet, helicopter and group charter through a vetted network of operators, for clients flying across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Its clients range from private travellers to corporate teams and travel agencies.
Every trip is different: one leg or five, two passengers or a full team, a city airport or a remote airstrip. The brand had to feel as calm and discreet as the service, and the website had to turn all of that into one simple request.
FIG. 2 — The homepage, top to bottom
Our approach
We started with the journey, not the homepage: from first search to a confirmed flight.
A charter request comes down to a handful of answers: where from, where to, when, how many passengers and how much luggage. We turned those into a quote form that sits at the top of every key page, with an extra leg or a return flight one tap away.
Around it we built the brand. The mark is the K from the wordmark, flipped to point forward, set in black and white with monochrome photography that lets the aircraft and the destinations do the talking.

FIG. 4 — Five charter services, one mark
“He quickly understood the brand and translated it into a clean, creative site that matched the brief. A strong partner and one we would happily work with again.”
The solution
A calm, premium brand and a booking flow that asks only what it needs.
The quote form asks for route, date, time, passengers and luggage, and nothing more. Around it sit pages for every service, from private jets and corporate hire to group charter, helicopters and special missions, plus a page for each destination BLAK flies to.
The same look carries into social and merchandise: hiring posts, aircraft spec sheets and Rocket Fuel, BLAK’s own cold brew.

FIG. 6 — Home, private jet charter and a region page on mobile

FIG. 7 — Monochrome photography across the brand
Design system
One system for brand, website and product, so every new page looks like BLAK on day one.
Black, white and a set of reusable sections: a hero with the quote form, service cards, aircraft cards, destination grids and client reviews. Every destination page is built from the same template, which is how the site grew to 28 destinations across four regions, in three languages.

The result
more charter requests after launch, from the same traffic.
The site now covers 28 destinations across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, in English, German and Spanish. The brand runs through everything BLAK puts out, from social posts to its own cold brew.
